Frequently asked questions about training

Can I attend training on my own or do I need a group?

For open (multi-company) sessions, you can register individually: sessions bring together participants from different companies (8 people max). For in-company training, the course is delivered to your team (4 to 12 people). Both formats are available on-site or online.

What is the difference between TRIZ and ASIT?

TRIZ is the original method developed by Genrich Altshuller from the analysis of 400,000 patents. It is a powerful but complex toolkit. ASIT (Advanced Systematic Inventive Thinking) is a optimised, operational version of TRIZ developed by Roni Horowitz. ASIT retains TRIZ effectiveness while being accessible in 1 to 2 days of training, and extends to non-technical problems (process, organisation, marketing).

Are there any prerequisites for these courses?

No technical prerequisites are required for Creative Problem-Solving, Innovative Concept Design, Contradiction Resolution and FASiT courses. They are accessible to all profiles (engineers, managers, technicians, designers). For ASIT Facilitator certification, prior completion of Creative Problem-Solving is recommended. FASiT Facilitator has no prerequisites.

Which course should I start with?

For a quick introduction: FASiT (1 day) gives you the basics of structured creativity. For mastering problem-solving: ASIT Creative Problem-Solving (2 days) is the reference pathway. If you are specifically interested in contradictions and the TRIZ matrix: Contradiction Resolution (1 day, 100% online) is designed for you.

What is the link between TRIZ40.com and the training courses?

TRIZ40.com is a free tool developed by SolidCreativity to explore the TRIZ matrix and its 40 principles. The training courses go much further: they teach you to formulate your problems as contradictions, use ASIT tools beyond the matrix, and apply these methods to your real cases with an expert trainer. a tool that becomes even more effective after training.
